Nexus Adds Interns to Team

For 2021, Nexus adds interns to the team! Nexus Technology Services would like to introduce our very first interns on their first day. Please say hello to Micheal and Jacques!

Jacques is from Tanzanian, Africa, and has been in the United States since 2019. Since he was a young kid in Africa, technology and electricity have fascinated him. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and work in his desired field. Jacques is a 19-year-old graduate from Union High School and is supported by GR’s Grow 1000 summer program.

Michael, with New City Kids, is a talented artist looking to learn a skill to support himself as he works towards his dreams. Michael is a Grand Rapids Public Schools student and is part of the New City Kids workforce development program.

To continue local knowledge and dollars circulating within the community, Nexus is excited to be a part of these young students’ lives. With the stability to host individuals who are looking for opportunities within the trades, Nexus is looking to have a direct positive impact with immediate results.
